Instructions
Step 1: Start by bringing a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Step 2: In a large skillet, heat the butter over medium heat until melted. Add the garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 3: Season the shrimp with salt and pepper, and add them to the skillet. Cook until they are pink and fully cooked, about 2-3 minutes.
Step 4: Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss it in the garlic butter sauce.
Step 5: Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and add the lemon juice and parsley. Toss everything together until well combined.
Step 6: Serve the garlic butter shrimp pasta in bowls, topped with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
Notes
- Use fresh shrimp: For best results, use fresh shrimp that has been peeled and deveined. Frozen shrimp can also be used, but make sure to thaw it completely before cooking.
- Cook the shrimp properly: To ensure that your shrimp turns out perfectly, make sure to cook it just until it turns pink and becomes opaque. Overcooking the shrimp will result in a tough and rubbery texture.
- Don’t overcook the pasta: Be careful not to overcook the pasta, as this will result in mushy and unappetizing noodles. Follow the instructions on the pasta package to achieve the perfect al dente texture.
