- 1 cup coconut milk or broth

- 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Instructions
- Open a can of green jackfruit and drain the liquid.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add coconut milk or broth and any desired seasonings (such as curry powder or cumin) to the skillet.
- Add the drained jackfruit to the skillet and stir to combine.
- Let the jackfruit simmer for about 10-15 minutes or until the liquid has been absorbed and the jackfruit is tender.
- Once the jackfruit is cooked through, it will be tender and ready to be used in a variety of dishes. You can use it as a meat substitute in tacos, sandwiches, or curries. Or you can also enjoy it on its own, with a side of rice or a salad.
- If desired, you can add diced onions, minced garlic, grated ginger and turmeric powder to the skillet before adding the jackfruit. This will add more flavor and aroma to the dish.
Notes
- These are simple ingredients and you may add or remove any of them depending on your preference. Also, you can substitute coconut milk or broth with any other liquids such as water or vegetable broth.
