Instructions

  • Step 1: Start by prepping your vegetables. Rinse the broccoli and cut it into florets, discarding the thick stems. Peel the carrots and slice them into thin rounds.
  • Step 2: Bring a pot of water to a boil on the stove. Once the water is boiling, add the broccoli florets to the pot and cook for 3-5 minutes, or until they are tender but still slightly crisp.
